LPFCP mission is to be the preferred cake, dessert, pastry and sweet products supplier to the Food and Beverage industries, providing our customers with premium, optimal quality price ratio products, offering our personnel with the best working environment and offering the development strategies to enhance their skills. The owner, Richard Harris, is a well traveled, trained pastry chef with over 40 years expertise.

La Patisserie Fine Cakes and Pastries Inc., was started as a one man home-based operation business in Guelph, Ontario in 1995. Himself and his wife, Claire, set up out of their kitchen. With a double door fridge in the garage, a Kitchen Aid mixer, and the hummingbird logo that he and his daughter, Alexia, had developed the year before, it was full steam ahead. One year later the company became incorporated and moved into a small industrial production facility in Kitchener, Ontario. Over the next eight years the company continued to grow its' wholesale operation, and at the same time continually invested and expanded its' production capabilities, employing more staff for a total of 18 on board, to include Richards' son, Mael, as a driver and purchasing refrigerated transport. Now being located within a 5'000 square foot facility and opening a retail storefront, we are distributing on a much larger scale.

Even with dreams of growing far beyond where we are now, La Patisserie will continue to be a family run, local company with the same passion and service in every relationship that develops.
